your experiences with
Equine Natural Choice
products!
Rhonda Newman I’ve always believed in natural products for myself so finding a source of herbal support for Tierra has been very welcome. So much so I’ve become a distributor of Equine Natural Choice. Tierra is now seven and has been on herbal supplements for three years. The picture was taken on our “walking trail” in the pasture this past June. She always goes along on my walk, of a morning or an evening. I love how healthy she looks (no Show Sheen or other stuff)! And most of all, I love her attitude now. No more cranky snaky head!!! I want to thank Selinda Journey for recommending Equine Natural Choice 'Mellow Choice' to me. I have a six-year old Judge Cash gelding that I am training to run barrels. Many folks have told me that this particular blood line is late to mature and that it takes a good two years to fully train them. My gelding was no exception. He is an absolute sweetheart, willing to learn, athletic, etc. His problem was he was good at home but lost focus and got ahead of himself at jackpots. I asked Selinda and she gave me the product to try. I fed it daily and a double dose on race day. It has made a tremendous difference! He is his normal self but when he runs barrels he is able to focus and get through a run without getting ahead of himself. He can make minor mistakes and allow me to help him and still end up with a competitive run. I hope to be able to reduce his dosage to just one scoop on race day. I'm a fan!
I finally got my big boy home, September 22, and it's time to get down to the business of getting him better. Paradox, the taller and Stellar, the shorter, are my horses. I purchased Paradox a year ago and he was head-bobbin lame at the walk. The story that accompanied him was that he stepped in an arena drag and cut his pastern on his left front foot, to the bone. They didn't know how long he was there before they found him. The Vet said that he would never be sound. For the first six months he got better and the last six months, has regressed to being lame at the walk again. So here we go with a fresh start, a whole new line of product and my personal attention. I will update on his progress and we can all see just what happens. My goal is to be riding him by spring!

I acquired my mare Tierra when she was just a weanling of five and a half months. She was sweet, easy going and would do most anything I asked of her. At two years old she had her first rides (she’s only known Parelli Natural Horsemanship) and we continued to progress thru Level One in their program. Then around age three she changed into this cranky, irritated, moody, “don’t even look at me” creature. Pinned ears and “snaky” head was the norm instead of the gentle sweetheart she’d always been. She was quick to bite or kick if she wasn’t happy. At over 15 hands and around 1100 pounds she could be very intimidating to a first-time horse owner. A few times she would just drop to the ground suddenly almost like she was having a colic episode. But it was more of a lay down and stretch and groan rather than the rolling associated with a horse that is colicky. I later learned that sometimes maiden mares do this when their cycle is particularly difficult. It is scary to watch. Of course everyone told me it’s a “mare thing”. Live with it. Let her have a baby. Sell her and get a gelding. None of the things I wanted to hear… Four years ago I met Rhonda Newman (Herbgirl) and she suggested some herbal supplements to support equine wellness, in particular her reproductive system, as well as a few other issues. Within less than a week of her taking herbal supplements I could immediately see her changing back in to the sweet equine companion I loved. She became obedient and teachable again. She was again fun to play with.

I started using the Equine Natural Choice Worm DTX Choice. Before starting the ten-day feed through period, I had a fecal done which showed 23 strongyle eggs. After using the Worm DTX Choice by Equine Natural Choice I had a second fecal done which showed only 5 eggs. I am very impressed with these results, and happy to be able to give my horse herbs rather than chemicals.

I have a mare with arthritis in her knee as the result of injury and surgery. The diagnosis after her accident was that she would probably never be more than pasture sound. A year had passed since she had the surgery to repair the broken knee and she still was lame at the jog. I was facing the fact that they might be right and she might never return to the show pen. As this is a young mare, putting her on bute or n-saids for a long-term treatment plan worried me because of the other damage which may result to her stomach, kidneys etc.
I have been using the herbal blends from Liz Stone and she told me about Neprinol. I decided to give it a try. I am very pleased with the results. In a relatively short time, the mare is sound and I have been able to start her back on a fitness building program. Neprinol has given me hope that she may be able to be ridden and perhaps even shown again.
With the mare showing such improvement, I started giving Neprinol to my husband to treat his arthritis. Despite his doubt, he is actually finding that the Neprinol is helping provide him with pain relief. I am very pleased with Neprinol and will continue to use it! I also have been telling all my friends about it!
Over the years I have tried many herbal mixtures on my horses. Recently I tried the Equine Natural Choice products and I was very pleased with the results. I now only use the ENC blends as I feel they are superior to anything else I have tried. I have picky horses and sometimes with the other herb products my horses will refuse to eat them but I have no problems with the ENC mixtures. The herb blends are aromatic and my horses seem to enjoy them added to their meals. I especially like the ulcer mixture and the vision choice. I feel they enhance my feeding program and provide my horses with the care they require. I will continue to order them through Liz at Harmony Horse Herbs as they are very quick to ship the products and answer my questions.
